Social Newsletter: German Act for the Immigration of Skilled Workers

    Dear Reader,

on June 23, 2023, the Federal Parliament passed various amendments relating to the Skilled Worker Immigration Act (Fachkräfteeinwanderungsgesetz). Some of these amendments have been in force since November 1, 2023. The other amendments will come into force in March or June 2024. From now on, skilled labor immigration will be based on the following three pillars:

    • Skilled workers pillar,
    • experience pillar and
    • potential pillar.

The new law offers considerable potential for employers in all industries to fill vacancies more easily with foreign skilled workers.

In this special newsletter we explain all relevant changes at a glance. Our experienced team will support you in answering all further questions and in the practical implementation or in the dialogue with the competent authorities.

You can find the newsletter under this link.

    Kind Regards,
