Fight against parallel imports: practical aspects

We would like to invite you to participate in the online seminar "Fight against parallel imports: practical aspects", organised by BEITEN BURKHARDT Russia. The online seminar will take place on 30 March 2021 from 11 pm to 12 am (Moscow time). We will discuss:

• Classical definition of parallel import. Parallel imports after the issue of Judgment No. 8-P of the Constitutional Court dated 13 February 2018.  Can the goods be destroyed, can adequate compensation be recovered, or can the import of the goods into the Russian Federation be prohibited?
• The customs authorities and the Customs Register of Intellectual Property (TROIS) as an effective tool in the fight against parallel imports. TROIS RF vs. TROIS EAEU.
• The Chestny ZNAK marking system – does this represent an effective aide in the fight against parallel imports or just one more formal measure?
• Antitrust risks of the fight against parallel imports: the position of FAS of Russia.
