The 16th Annual AIJA International Arbitration Conference will take place in Helsinki from June 25 to 27, 2026.
The event will highlight the growing importance of arbitration as a fast alternative to dispute resolution, especially in light of the backlogs in national courts worldwide. The Arbitration Law Track will focus on key topics such as the arbitrability of claims, jurisdictional issues, and the challenge of arbitral awards in order to discuss the accessibility and future of arbitration.
Dr. Tobias Pörnbacher will be present and will participate in the panel “Know what you are claiming and why it matters – Objections to the jurisdiction of arbitral tribunals and to the admissibility of the claim.”
