On 12 March 2026 the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation (hereinafter the "Russian Constitutional Court") issued a detailed interpretation and conducted a review of the constitutionality of Clause 1 of Article 1362 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation (hereinafter the "Russian Civil Code"), which regulates the issue of compulsory licences, inter alia, for inventions used to manufacture medicines.
