Dusseldorf, 21 April 2021 – The international law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT has advised the owners on the sale of the intensive care service Lebenswert GmbH, Ellwangen, to a company of the Korian Group comprehensively in numerous fields of law. The parties have agreed not to disclose the transaction volume. The team of Dr Martin Rappert and Nico Frielinghaus (both lead partners) has thus once again become active in the field of advising on the sale of outpatient intensive care services within a short period of time.
The intensive care service Lebenswert specialises in individual outpatient care and comprehensive all-round care in residential care communities in a large geographic catchment area in Baden-Wuerttemberg as well as in Bavaria.
The Korian Group is active in Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain and the Netherlands.With 252 care facilities, 74 of which are retirement homes with assisted living and 43 outpatient services, the group is represented throughout Germany. In total, around 56,000 staff are employed at more than 890 locations in the six states and more than 82,000 care places are provided.
