Matthias Kemmer is partner at ADVANT Beiten in Munich and member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group. He mainly focuses on the areas of D&O and professional liability, insurance law and products law (in particular product liability, product safety and product compliance). His work includes the defense and in-and-out-of-court-representation in liability cases and proceedings as well as advice in insurance law and coverage issues. He also has longstanding experience regarding all aspects of products law with a special focus on defending against product liability and damage claims, advising on product safety (e.g. in the context of product crises, recalls and preventive measures) as well as on market access requirements and product compliance.
Matthias Kemmer studied law at the University of Augsburg and was admitted to the bar in 2018. Before joining ADVANT Beiten in 2026, Matthias Kemmer worked as a lawyer for more than seven years in the fields of litigation, products law and liability law at the law firm Hogan Lovells in Munich.
