Maik Merkens is Partner at ADVANT Beiten's Frankfurt office and member of the Corporate/M&A practice group. His area of activity comprises mergers & acquisitions, corporate law and energy law. He advises national and international undertakings on the planned arrangement, structuring and implementation of transactions in the small and mid-cap sector. His area of activity further comprises advice to national and international clients on all aspects of corporate and commercial law and represents the interests of clients in court as well as before national and international arbitral tribunals.
Maik Merkens studied law at the Universities of Göttingen and Auckland, New Zealand. He was admitted to the German Bar in 2013 and since then has been working with ADVANT Beiten. In 2018 he became Partner.
