Haide Spanier is Partner at ADVANT Beiten's Frankfurt office and member of the Banking, Finance & Restructuring practice group with a focus on structuring, corporate rescue and insolvency. She represents and provides comprehensive advice to insolvency administrators, self-administrating debtors, insolvency monitors, creditors and other parties involved in large corporate insolvencies. Here, she specialises in enforcing and contesting controversial claims, especially claims for directors' and officers' liability and claims arising from contesting the insolvent's transactions, as well as claims based on the right to raise capital and maintain capital. In cross-border matters Haide Spanier advises national and international creditors on all issues arising in connection with restructuring and insolvency, with a focus on the interface between insolvency and corporate law.
Having completed her professional training as qualified bank clerk, Haide Spanier studied law at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and, following her practical legal training at the Regional Court of Hanau, was admitted to the German Bar in 1999. Since then she has been working with ADVANT Beiten and became Partner in 2006.
Haide Spanier heads the French Desk at ADVANT's Frankfurt office.
