Contract & Commercial Law - Corporate/M&A - Dispute Resolution
Etienne Sprösser is Senior Associate at ADVANT Beiten's Freiburg office and member of the Corporate/M&A practice group. He specialises in national and international commercial law with a particular focus on Franco-German business operations, M&A transactions and corporate governance matters. Furthermore, he advises on liability of managing directors, board members and supervisory board members (D&O liability).
Etienne Sprösser studied French and German law within the integrated programme of the universities of Cologne and Paris Sorbonne (LL.B./Maîtrise en droit). After passing his first state exam in Cologne, he joined the insurance Masters programme of the University Paris-Dauphine, while working for the group legal department of a major insurance company. In 2015 Etienne Sprösser won the Excellence Award of the French German University (UFA-DFH) for the best graduates of the binational integrated programmes. He also won the French insurance law moot court "ALEA" in 2019. He was admitted to the German Bar in 2021 and started working for the French desk of a German law firm before joining ADVANT Beiten in 2022.
