Dispute Resolution - IT and the Law of Data - Intellectual Property
Dr. Sophia Steffensen is Associate at ADVANT Beiten's Berlin office and member of the IP/IT/Media practice group. Her area of expertise comprises copyright and intellectual property law as well as litigation.
Dr. Sophia Steffensen studied law at the Freie Universität Berlin, the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris and the Universiteit van Amsterdam (LL.M. European Law). She wrote her PhD thesis on a competition law topic at the Freie Universität Berlin. She passed her second state examination in Berlin. During her legal clerkship, Dr. Sophia Steffensen worked as a research assistant in several international law firms and at the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection. She has been working with ADVANT Beiten since her admission to the bar in 2024.
