Dr Klaus Kemen is Partner at ADVANT Beiten’s Berlin office and member of the Real Estate practice group. His area of expertise comprises real estate law, commercial tenancy law, as well as law related to real estate services like asset, property und facility management, in each case including litigation activities. He particularly advises his national and international clients on the acquisition and sale of real estate portfolios. He is experienced in legal issues regarding security interests in real property in respect to the acquisition and sale of loan portfolios (performing and non performing) as well. He mainly advises clients from the financial sector and the real estate industry.
Dr Klaus Kemen studied law at the Universities of Cologne und Freiburg i.Br. He holds a Doctor of Laws (Dr. iur.) degree and was admitted to the German Bar in 1993. He started his career with an international law firm in Berlin. Dr Klaus Kemen has been working with ADVANT Beiten since 2002 and became Partner in 2005.
