Dr Dirk Tuttlies is Partner at ADVANT Beiten’s Munich office and head of the Banking, Finance & Restructuring practice group. His area of expertise comprises every type of advice on corporate and capital markets law of listed companies. In corporate law he advises companies especially on the conduct of general meetings, capital measures and on post-listing requirements, i.e. ad hoc disclosure, insider dealing, directors’ dealings and notification on shareholding. Furthermore, Dr Dirk Tuttlies specialises in all capital market transactions such as IPO’s/SPO’s, private placements, rights offers, convertible bonds, corporate bonds as well as public takeover offers and SPAC’s. He advises his national and international clients, especially Chinese and other foreign companies on listings/IPO’s on German stock exchanges. Furthermore, Dr Dirk Tuttlies is highly experienced in the field of REITs and publication obligations and capital markets compliance.
Dr Dirk Tuttlies studied law and economics at the Universities of Bayreuth, Aix-Marseille III, Aix-en-Provence (maître en droit). He was a grantee of Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes and received his Ph.D. in 1998. In 1995, he was admitted to the German Bar. He has been working with ADVANT Beiten since 1997 and became Partner in 2003.
