Dr Christian Kaufmann is Partner at ADVANT Beiten's Berlin office and member of the Legal Managed Services team and of the Public Sector practice group. In the Legal Managed Services team, he assists his clients by designing and implementing IT-supported processes for an efficient management of standard activities and legal challenges that arise on a massive scale. Dr Christian Kaufmann is also substantially involved in developing the law firm's own legal tech solutions.
As a member of the Public Sector practice group, he advises government agencies, administrative authorities and public sector businesses on civil and company law issues, particularly when it comes to the drafting, negotiation and implementation of contracts, as well as dispute resolution in and out of court.
Dr Christian Kaufmann studied law at the Universities of Leipzig and Halle/Saale as well as at the Columbia University in New York. He was admitted to the German Bar in 2010 and to the New York Bar in 2013. Before joining ADVANT Beiten, he worked as a senior employee at the Federal Ministry of Finances and at an international law firm in Dusseldorf. He has been working with ADVANT Beiten since 2016 and was appointed Partner in 2018.
