Dispute Resolution - IT and the Law of Data - Intellectual Property
Christian Hess is Partner at ADVANT Beiten's Munich office and member of the IP/IT/Media practice group. He is a certified specialist for IP law and primarily advises in the fields of patent, design and unfair competition law as well as know-how protection. His special focus is on advising and representing national and international clients in national and cross-border litigation including nullity proceedings in patent and utility model law as well as advising and drafting of technology transfer agreements, in particular license agreements, R&D agreements and in transactions.
Christian Hess studied law at the University of Passau. He obtained a master of laws (LL.M.) degree at the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) with a special focus on Intellectual Property Law and Competition Law. He was admitted to the German bar in 2010. Prior to joining ADVANT Beiten as a partner in 2017, Christian Hess worked for a leading boutique IP law firm with a focus on the enforcement of patents and utility models.
