Christian Burmeister is Partner at ADVANT Beiten’s offices in Freiburg and Berlin and member of the Corporate/M&A practice group. He advises national and international clients on corporate law, M&A transactions, joint ventures and venture capital/private equity. His practice focuses on takeovers, investments and restructurings. He also advises in context of shareholder disputes.
Christian Burmeister studied law at the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and Queens' College in Cambridge. He completed his legal traineeship at the Berlin Court of Appeal and worked for national and international commercial law firms in Berlin and New York. He was admitted to the German Bar in 2017. Before joining ADVANT Beiten in 2022, he worked for the leading German commercial law firm Noerr in Berlin.
