Antitrust Law - Corporate/M&A - Insolvency Law & Restructuring
Alexey Kuzmishin is a Partner at ADVANT Beiten's Moscow office and a member of the Corporate/M&A Practice Group. His practice area comprises consulting on M&A transactions, the establishment of joint ventures, corporate law, as well as antitrust law, real estate transactions, taxation, restructuring, reorganisation and insolvency, and banking & finance.
Alexey Kuzmishin graduated from the International Law Faculty of the Moscow State Institute for International Relations (MGIMO) in 1996 and received his LLM degree from the University of Saarland in 2001. Alexey started his career in 1995 at the Legal and Treaty Department of the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations of the Russian Federation. He subsequently worked for the Moscow office of the German law firm Pünder, Volhard, Weber & Axster. From 1998 to 2008 Alexey worked for various companies of ITERA Group, a Russian independent natural gas producer and trader, where he was Deputy Head of Legal. At this point in his career Alexey advised on M&A transactions, the establishment of joint ventures, and other corporate law issues. He also advised extensively on natural resources, real estate, taxes, antitrust issues, and banking & finance legislation. In 2008 Alexey joined the Moscow office of Rödl & Partner as Associate Partner. Alexey has been Co-Head of the Corporate Law/M&A Practice Group at ADVANT Beiten CIS since 2010.
