Frankfurt am Main, 9 July 2020 - The international law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT has advised the Swiss investor and asset manager Lakeward on the structuring and establishment of a joint venture with AAW Guse & Compagnie, a project developer located in Stuttgart, Germany.
The joint venture acquired an area called 'Kienzle Areal', located at Mercedesstraße 9, Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, in a structured bidding process. It is planned to develop around 5,600 square metres of gross floor space at this highly frequented location for a serviced apartment / extended stay concept with around 160 apartments. Construction of the project is scheduled to start in early 2021.
Lakeward Real Estate AG has been active in Germany for several years, and after various residential, office and operator real estate investments, has added another attractive investment to its portfolio.
