Roland Startz is Partner at ADVANT Beiten's Munich office and member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group. He has extensive experience and expertise in company law and mainly advises public limited companies in a variety of corporate law disputes. Among his clients are members of supervisory and management boards as well as managing directors whom he advises on different liability issues. Besides his expertise in corporate law, Roland Startz has experience in capital market law, procedural law, tax law as well as accounting issues and in the areas of finance, private equity and dispute resolution.
Roland Startz studied law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany. He was admitted to the German Bar in 1996 and started working as lawyer in an international law firm then. In 1998 he joined the tax department of KPMG Aktiengesellschaft Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft in Munich, where he controlled the setup of the advisory activity on corporate and capital market law shortly after his entry. He has been working with ADVANT Beiten since 2004.
