Career
Kamil Karibov is Partner and a member of the Real Estate practice group at ADVANT Beiten’s Moscow office. His practice area comprises real estate, construction and public procurement law. Specifically, Mr. Karibov advises his national and international clients on acquiring land plots for construction purposes, structuring real property transactions, restructuring real estate portfolios, due diligence on real property, legal models for managing immovable property, law on brokerage services associated with real estate, contract law in construction, city planning and public construction law, procurement law (including placement of state orders), entering into and implementing agreements with state customers as well as non-judicial and judicial resolution of disputes in the field of construction.
Kamil Karibov studied law at Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 2001, Mr. Karibov defended his Ph.D. thesis there, earning a Ph.D. degree in law. Prior to joining ADVANT Beiten, Mr. Karibov started his career at the State Committee for Antimonopoly Policy of the Russian Federation. Mr. Karibov later headed the legal department at the State enterprise for administration of real estate of the Russian Federation abroad under the Administrative Department of the President of the Russian Federation. He continued his career at the law firms Haarmann Hemmelrath & Partner and CMS Hasche Sigle. Kamil Karibov has been working with ADVANT Beiten since 2008. In April 2021 Kamil was elected chairman of the Construction and Real Estate Committee of the Russian–German Chamber of Commerce.
