ADVANT celebrates first-year anniversary

MILAN, MUNICH and PARIS (15 September 2022) – ADVANT, the leading European law firm association, has today celebrated its first year of existence. The anniversary is being marked through celebrations and events across its member firm offices throughout Europe.

Since launching in September 2021, ADVANT has carved out a unique place in the legal landscape of Europe, offering a seamless client experience and a distinctive advantage to clients seeking to expand into, or within, continental Europe.

In just its first year, ADVANT has successfully launched a range of initiatives in support of the association and its member firms, including:

• Establishing 13 active cross-firm Practice Groups to foster collaboration, share knowledge and legal insights, and coordinate international event, marketing and business development activity
• The first-ever ADVANT-wide professionals meeting (ADVANT Live), bringing nearly 600 delegates to Berlin for practice group planning sessions and relationship-building activities
• An ADVANT-wide secondment program (‘Your Road to Europe’) giving associates and legal professionals the opportunity for career and professional development in one of seven locations across Europe
• Sponsorship or joint attendance at a number of major events, conferences and forums around the world, including IBA, ABA, ACC Europe, INTA and the Games Law Summit

In recognition of its success to date, ADVANT has also been shortlisted for International Firm of the Year at the 2022 Legal Business Awards. The winner will be announced in a gala ceremony in London on 27 September.
