Dr Knut Schulte
Dr Knut Schulte is Partner at ADVANT Beiten‘s Dusseldorf office and member of the Corporate / M&A practice group. He has long-term relationships with national and international, mostly medium-sized, clients from the services sector (in particular public relations agencies) as well as manufacturing companies, and focuses on trade law, contracts, litigation (including debt enforcement) and Mergers & Acquisitions transactions. He has special expertise regarding joint venture projects and is the author and editor of one of the leading publications in that field.
Dr Knut Schulte studied law at the University of Heidelberg and was admitted to the German Bar in 1993 (tax advisor 2001). Between 1993 and 2000 he worked for the law firm Melchers in Heidelberg and Frankfurt (partner since 1996) and temporarily for its partner firm in New York. Dr Knut Schulte joined ADVANT Beiten as a partner in 2000 and was Head of the Dusseldorf office until 2010.
Dr Knut Schulte is assistant lecturer for corporate law at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Dusseldorf and member of the advisory committee from the juridical department of the university.
