Paris/Berlin, 27 January 2023 – ADVANT Altana and ADVANT Beiten have advised NYSE-listed Amphenol on the acquisition of the CMR Group from LBO France. The parties agreed not to disclose the transaction volume.

Amphenol is one of the world's largest suppliers of high-tech connection, sensor and antenna solutions used across across sectors including automotive, broadband communications, commercial aviation and aerospace, industry, information technology and data communications.

CMR operates in 12 countries and employs more than 1,000 people worldwide. For many years, CMR Group has built up a strong international presence and a solid customer portfolio of leading companies.

In recent years, CMR Group, supported by LBO France, has diversified its business, and completed several acquisitions, including Costronic, specializing in renewable energies, and Procaly Group, specializing in the railway sector.

The ADVANT Beiten team led by partners Dr Christian von Wistinghausen and Susanne Rademacher advised on all German and Chinese legal aspects of the transaction and also coordinated the legal aspects relating to India and the UK.
