    12th Business Talk in Munich

Traditional Event at Bayerischer Hof Hotel on 25 January 2018

Munich, 12 February 2018 – For the twelfth time already the annual Business Talk was held at the hotel Bayerischer Hof, again jointly organised by Warth & Klein Grant Thornton and BEITEN BURKHARDT, and hosting around 600 guests. The meeting theme of this year's event was "The first year of Donald Trump's presidency - keep it up, Berlin?"

As keynote speaker the organisers were able to book the politician Karl-Theodor Freiherr zu Guttenberg. He excels at world politics as well as business and security policy. In his captivating speeches Freiherr zu Guttenberg likes to present unique -- and at the same time controversial -- opinions on "his" topics, certainly one reason for this year's record high number of participants.

After the host Dr Stefan Kusterer (Warth & Klein Grant Thornton) briefly welcomed the participants, Karl-Theodor Freiherr zu Guttenberg began his speech. In his one-hour talk he looked back at the first year of Donald Trump's presidency and pondered how the German- US relationship was going to develop. He analysed the past year from different angles in a fluent, gripping, entertaining and inspiring manner, electrifying and enthusing the attendees.

A brief round of questions followed the speech of Freiherr zu Guttenberg. After that, host Dr Axel Goetz (BEITEN BURKHARDT) invited guests to a get together so that everyone could enjoy the rest of the evening with culinary delicacies and networking.
