    Expertise

    Volker Szpak is Partner at ADVANT Beiten's Frankfurt office and a member of the Corporate / M&A practice group. His area of activity comprises corporate law, the real estate industry and also start-ups / venture capital. He particularly advises his national and international clients on the legal and tax structuring of real estate transactions (in the form of share deals as well as asset deals). His focus of advice comprises classic corporate law matters just as M&A transactions. Further, Mr Szpak assists shareholders with shareholder disputes.

    Volker Szpak studied law at the University of Heidelberg and was admitted to the German Bar in 1991; in 1996 he was publicly appointed tax advisor. In 2000 Mr Szpak was appointed by the Ministry of Finance of the state of Hessen to the examination boards for the tax advisor examination. From 1991 until 2002 he worked at the auditing and tax consultancy firm Schüllermann und Partner AG. In October 2002 he founded Schuchardt und Szpak PartGG (now HauckSchuchardt PartmbB). Since May 2017, he has been working as Partner with ADVANT Beiten.
