Mathias Zimmer-Goertz is Partner at ADVANT Beiten‘s Dusseldorf office and member of the IP/IT/Media practice group. His area of expertise comprises IT and telecommunication law, competition law as well as data protection. He particularly advises his national and international clients on legal and contractual realisation of projects in the area of technology and IT including compliance issues as well as protection and defense of intellectual property. Another focus of his activities is legal advice in connection with the realisation of new business and communication concepts, in particular in the area of social media, online and mobile telecommunication.
Mathias Zimmer-Goertz studied law at the Universities of Freiburg and Munich and was admitted to the German Bar in 2001. After having worked with the international business consultancy The Boston Consulting Group as well as a commercial law firm in Dubai, Mathias Zimmer-Goertz was for more than nine years Partner at the IP/IT-Boutique Rayermann Zimmer. Since 2010, he has been working with ADVANT Beiten.
