Jan-Moritz Degener is Partner at ADVANT Beiten's Dusseldorf office and member of the practice groups Corporate/M&A and Assets, Succession, Foundations. Apart from providing advice on business law, mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance, his area of activity also comprises the law of succession, corporate and asset successorship, and rendering comprehensive advice to foundations and their management.
Jan-Moritz Degener studied law at the University of Cologne and economics and business administration at the University of Bonn and the University of Applied Sciences (RFH) of Cologne; he was admitted to the German Bar in 2011. At the Abbe-Institut für Stiftungswesen of the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena, he graduated as certified foundation consultant. In addition, he is one of the founding editors of the periodical publication "Kölner Schrift zum Wirtschaftsrecht. Jan-Moritz Degener has been working with ADVANT Beiten since 2011 and became Partner in 2016.
