Dr Theofanis Tacou is Partner at ADVANT Beiten´s Hamburg Office and member of the practice Labour Law. He advises and represents national and international companies in and out of court in all matters of individual and collective employment law. His practice focuses on works constitution and employee representation law, operational and corporate co-determination, in particular, in connection with reorganizations and restructurings, transfers of business including implementation of reconciliation of interests and social compensation plans as well as negotiations with employee representatives and representation in conciliation committees. He also is specialized in remunera-tion law, in particular for financial institutes, asset managers and securities institutions, as well as providing employment law advice on compliance-related issues.
Before joining ADVANT Beiten in 2024, Dr Theofanis Tacou worked as a local partner at a European commercial law firm and as a senior manager at a BIG 4 law firm. After studying law, he received his doctorate from the University of Greifswald and was admitted to the bar in 2014. In addition to being admitted to the bar, he is also admitted to the bar in Greece (Dikigoros). Dr Theofanis Tacou has been working as a lecturer in the field of employment law since 2007.
