Alexey Kuzmishin
Career
Alexey Kuzmishin is Partner and Co-Head of the Corporate / M&A practice group at ADVANT Beiten's Moscow office. His practice area comprises corporate law, Mergers & Acquisitions and joint ventures, as well as natural resources. Specifically, Mr. Kuzmishin advises his national and international clients on entering the Russian market, all aspects of M&A transactions (including legal due diligence, acquisition of shares and participation interest, merger control, squeeze-outs, etc.), joint ventures and Russian banking, financial and capital market law.
Alexey Kuzmishin studied law at the International Law Faculty of the Moscow State Institute for International Relations (MGIMO) and obtained a Master of Laws degree from the University of Saarland. Mr. Kuzmishin started his career in 1995 at the Legal and Treaty Department of the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations of the Russian Federation. Mr. Kuzmishin later worked with the Moscow office of Pünder, Volhard, Weber & Axster. Since 1998 Mr. Kuzmishin has worked for various companies of ITERA Group, a Russian independent gas producer and trader, and, in particular, with OOO "NGK ITERA", where he was Deputy Head of Legal. In 2008 Mr. Kuzmishin joined the Moscow office of Rödl & Partner as an Associate Partner. Alexey Kuzmishin has been working for ADVANT Beiten since 2010.
