Workshop "Sanctions against the Republic of Belarus: risks for Russian and foreign businesses"

The Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry is conducting, jointly with the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and the international law firm ADVANT Beiten, a paid workshop for Russian companies on the topics of sanctions risks and sanctions compliance.

Focus of the event – the new restrictive measures imposed on the Republic of Belarus, their impact on Russian and foreign businesses, the risk of the imposition of new sanctions regimes in other areas. 

At the workshop you will receive a comprehensive picture of sanctions risks and hands-on experience on how to minimise them from top expert practitioners who will enable you to understand:

1. The tactical and strategic issues of planning the business operations of Russian and foreign companies in connection with sanctions restrictions which are constantly expanding 
2. How to minimise the threats and risks for your company during cooperation with foreign counterparties in connection with the new escalation of sanctions  
3. How to learn how to identify dangerous sectors and transactions covered by the sanctions   
4. How to understand and assess sanctions when building the development strategy of your business 
5. How to avoid adverse economic consequences (fall in revenue, the blocking of accounts, significant fines, etc.) due to the imposition of sanctions on your counterparties 
6. How to challenge sanctions that have been imposed in the courts of foreign jurisdictions
